I did my due diligence on Vullcan, but things went downhill. After a week i got a pre-tax invoice for £3000 for a more "complex" drainage system which was already completed, this was the start of them trying to get around contract items and look for every way possible to charge extra fees which i can’t go through in the word limit here. When that dint work they refused to do the work. e.g. they literally installed a tempered glass sheet, with liquid glue on my roof and stated to me that this was a "roof window". I had to show them buildings regulations that this was unacceptable and illegal especially when our contract said it has to be a VELUX ROOF WINDOW! Promised a 6-8 week completion, this is 9 months later. I had now paid about 90% of the original bill and 100% of additional costs. The final payment was due after completion and a 2 week snagging period. But the demand for payments started, with threats to sue. This was laughable as they hadn't completed the job. •The roof was leaking •Electrical issues with the fuse box and multiple light /electrical points •Outstanding items •The buildings controls company stated they would not be able to sign off on the building work because of outstanding issues, which I wouldn’t have even known as they lied stating they HAD the certificate. I agreed to send a FULL payment to an escrow company and pay HALF of the costs so they can complete and fix safety issues but they refused! Shameful experience.

Kasta did a complete bathroom renovation. He was always on time and worked extremely hard. He took every measure to make sure the Job was done properly without cutting corners. He was clean and always cleaned after himself. He was friendly, kind and nothing was too much trouble for him. The final finish of the Job was amazing and immaculate. Akash made sure the job was complete exactly how he said it would be, he provided reliability during the installation of our kitchen and answered all questions very professionally. The builders were well aware of the conversations my mother and I had with Akash and so put our mind at ease. The installation itself was very quick (the tear down was very much completed in a few hours) and installed over the weekend. They were very hygiene aware and set up a cover between the kitchen and the rest of our house and didn’t disrupt our home living. They cleaned up before they were gone to very high standards without us even asking them too, all I’m sure is due to Akash’s excellent organisation skills.

We have hired Dan and Raf (D&R henceforth) for the renovation of our newly purchased Victorian terraced house. We solicited a few quotes from different companies and decided on proceeding with D&R as the quote was not only one of the most competitive in terms of price but also very detailed and straightforward in terms of the material and labour costs for the different parts of the work. D&R (together with their team workers) have done a complete top-to-bottom renovation of the property, including re-wiring, some structural work (removal of two load-bearing walls), installation of new wooden floors, tiling and installation of new kitchen and bathroom, fitting of new internal and external doors, some carpentry work. By the end of the work the total cost of the renovation work did not deviate significantly from the quote we had initially been given. Also the works were concluded largely within the deadline agreed preceding the works (11 weeks instead of 10 for a complete renovation). D&R have been particularly helpful in providing suggestions throughout the project, and they were often in contact with us to ensure that the renovation was in line with our preference. The scope of work has changed a few times throughout the course of the project, and D&R have always been able to accommodate our requests. Overall, we are extremely happy with the overall results and we would highly recommend D&R’s services.

Vass was called to completely re-render our 4 BR detached house and detached garage, as well as redoing our patio completely. The quote was competitive and he was able to start right away. Most of the work happened while we were out of the country in holiday to minimize disruption. Vass kept us up to date everyday with the progress of the work with plenty of pictures and comments on WhatsApp. The end result after 3 weeks was wonderful and we are so happy with the quality of the job. The property was left clean as if no work had ever taken place. I cannot recommend his craftsmanship, honesty and ease to work with enough. Thank you!!
