Ged, did the renovation on our Kitchen/Living room. This included rewiring, fitting a new kitchen, removing part of the ceiling, re plastering and laying a new floor. From start to finish he was amazing; Explaining everything that he was doing and why. The finish of the job is great and he was more than happy to correct anything that we where not happy with. Being in a flat we have a lot of neighbors, Ged was great at keeping noise to a minimum and even working around our neighbors to ensure they where not disturbed by the noise. Would definitely hire again :)

We have been working with Derek Borkiewicz (Sebek Construction) on a renovation of a garden flat in Little Venice since last autumn. We needed to completely restore the whole flat, including the garden. This was our second renovation project and by this time we knew what we wanted to do, which mistakes to avoid and what to pretend from a qualified builder. We will never stop saying how lucky we have been to find Derek and his team! Derek is not only a professional builder who is very careful to the smallest of the details. He is not only a very good project manager who is constantly checking the work of his men. Derek is a friend who takes on board a project like it is his own project. He suggested the most convenient and best solutions for any problem we came across during the works. There wasn’t a time when he didn’t know what to do to solve a difficult situation (and there are lots of small and big issues coming up in a renovation work) no matter how complicate they were and how long it took to solve them. His availability and his courtesy are incredible above all in a fast running city like London. This is priceless to us. His hard work can be seen in the wonderful result we reached with this garden flat. If we ever decide to work on another project we won’t think twice about working with Derek once again. We had 10 interested parties for this project and Axe were by far the most professional, communicative, and timely of all. Eduard turned up on time, in uniform, and had the plans we provided printed out and ready for discussion - something none of the others did. Axe’s quote was detailed and itemised. For comparison, Axe’s quote was not the cheapest of the quotes we received but Eduard’s professionalism and transparency is what sold it to us. We were also given the opportunity to visit recently completed projects, which we did without Axe present, all with good reviews. The project itself went very smoothly. We worked closely on problems encounter during the works, and everything was done to a high standard. There were changes needed during the works and Axe were accommodating of these. Additionally, we lived in the property during most of the works and Axe were accommodating of this as well. There were one or two small issues a week or so after the end of the project and Axe returned promptly to resolve these. Axe clearly have high standards and are very reluctant to compromise those standards, which is great. We intend to use Axe for future work and are currently waiting on a quote for the next phase of our project.

John has been an amazing builder to work with! My wife and I felt blessed to have him work in our place especially when we have just moved in and had loads of refurbishment work needed doing. He is true to his word and reliable, sends out quotes when he says he will and turns up when he says he will. He has also done additional stuff for us (e.g. adding more cupboard space, installing curtains) out of his own initiative to help make our house even better and most of them were free of charge as he just genuinely wants to make your house function in the best way possible. Enjoyed working with John so would highly recommend him and would definitely keep in touch for other work I'd need.
