Unfortunately, as soon as he got paid he quickly lost interest in the job, even having the audacity to tell me that he was now prioritizing new work over coming and finishing the job he had already been paid in full to do. We were left with an unfinished and substandard plastering job that all decorators we had around commented on, with one refusing to quote for fear of being blamed for it. In retrospect, the fact he kept putting off unfinished bits as something that he would quickly sort “tomorrow”™ and his insistence for payment should have been a clear indication he intended to fob us off as soon as he was ahead. After two weeks of lame excuses and no-shows, had to pay someone else to finish the job. Sub-standard and unprofessional.

I chose Alex because although he was not the cheapest, his quote was reasonable and he had sensible solutions to any issues we had with the ceiling. I would recommend him.

Latest review:Plastering-Peter was a pleasure to work with. He is an excellent plasterer that takes obvious pride and care in his work. He did a fantastic job on a what proved to be quite a difficult job, with Victorian walls and ceilings that hadn't be plastered for many a year. Peter and his son Chris were polite, and cleaned up every day after their work. They were also very quiet, I was working from home at the same time and I wouldn't even know they were there! Highly recommended.

Ibrahim and his assistant did an excellent job rendering two external walls with a thin coat silicone render. Communication was good and he charged a fair price. He advised me on the best products to use for the work and the finish looks really great. I have no hesitation recommending Chelasea Brothers Building Services.
