Latest review:Repointing-I had damp problems with ingress of water into the house. Deanway gave good professional advice undertook the work quickly and competently. The work solved the damp in all but one minor location . On going back to Deanway they came back out and resolved this problem. I would recommend the company

Latest review:Handyman-I was delighted with Stuart Beech’s work. He is reliable and efficient. He did exactly what I asked him to do and started and completed the work in a timely manner. The standard of his work was good. He is polite and appears to be trustworthy. I will be asking him to do further jobs as they arise and would consider hiring him to do larger pieces of work.
Ken and his team are a friendly bunch and did a great job on our end terrace house. They turned up on time and worked late when needed because the weather was forecast rain on the last day. Parts of the building had not been pointed in a very long time and we were having problems with damp at the front of the property. Ken and his team worked hard. The house was acid washed then the front, side and two chimneys were repointed, replacing and repairing bricks where required, removing old hardware and wires that were no longer needed and repointing parts of the back wall of the house where there had been gaps in the mortar. He identified a problem we would have with a shared chimney and fixed that as well. Each day the team cleaned up the mess, hosing down cars parked close by as the dust got everywhere. The house looks great now. So pleased with the job. Ken’s quote for the whole job was excellent and we would recommend him to anyone looking for a job well done.

Clearly explained the extent of the problem (and reassured us it wasn’t as bad as we’d feared) and got a joiner involved for the woodwork too. Offered to, and fixed, a couple of extra things that needed doing (replaced a broken gutter and replaced some loose mortar). All jobs done in less than a day for the price quoted. Cleaned up brilliantly and even hosed the driveway. Charles will be my first port of call for any building work in the future. Highly recommended.
