flaking paint over stain block

customer had mould on bathroom ceiling . i cleaned , put stain block on and next day painted in bathroom emulsion. all ok then but now customer says paint is peeling off the ceiling. any advice please ?

Most stain block primers claim to be able to paint straight over the problem, but if the surface is not clean, dry or free from grease then the stain block primer will not adhere fully to the surface and could still leave partial areas uncovered. Always best to clean surface prior to applying stain block.

when you washed surface did you use detergent,if so this must be washed off with clean water before applying next coat,give the area rub down with light sandpaper then apply stain block again.j.p decor glasgow.
