Old water tank still attached to anything??

Anonymous user 01/03/2024 - 2.48 PM

Hi, we have central heating in our home, put in about 20 years ago. The old water tank was in a cupboard and boarded up. I am looking to open this up tp make space but worried incase the tank is still attached to anything. The new water tank is in the loft.

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Do you have a cylinder in this cupboard or was it all moved up into the loft? You should have 2 tanks in the loft if so the tank you are on about will be redundant. They may not have removed it if it was a galvanised tank or asbestos. Just get a plumber around for a FREE quote and he will investigate it for you.
