Can we replace our conservatory and re-use the old doors?
Anonymous user 03/03/2024 - 2.58 PM
We want to replace our conservatory with a 3 1/2 metre extension but would still like to keep French doors to the side. Can this be done. We have been told that we have to have a brick wall on both sides and doors to the front into the garden. We would like to keep them on the side. Can you please advise.
Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

As far as I am aware if your doors are are not overlooking a neighbour or you haven't suficient space are the only reasons for not being allowed to keep your doors where they are.
I have built extensions and haven't ever came across your problem.
You could always double check with your local authority planning department
Hope this helps
