Trying to fix curtain rail, looks like steel lentil??

Hi, as above really. Tried using 24v hammer sds not even touching it. looks like shiny steel from what i can see. Everywhere i try to drill its the same!! Any ideas apart from a stick of dynamite?

hi try hss drill bit should drill it no problem

you need a good quality drill bit( cobalt or similar) and a mains powered drill as a cordless drill does not turn fast enough to make the drill work, regards Terry.
