Boiler goes to fire and then digital controller goes mad. How can I fix it?
Anonymous user 03/03/2024 - 2.57 PM
Every so often our boiler will fire and straight away it will cut out and the timer will start making a rapid clicking noise with both the hot water and heating lights flickering. If I turn it off at the wall and leave it for 4 or 5 hours it will work ok again until next time. This can happen after the heating has been on for several hours not just on initial fire up. The boiler is a Glow worm Ultimate 50FF and the controller a Potterton EP3002. Any help would be appreciated.
