Conservatories

Flooring problem

Anonymous user 27/10/2026 - 7.57 AM

I had a conservatory built in 2013 and had 600 x600 mirror white tiles laid on a concrete base. Over time the tiles lifted and warped. I have lifted them all up. There is a smell of damp and there are damp patches around the perimeter of the conservatory. I don't know if the patches are caused by a leak in the roof or something else. Can anyone help please. I don't know what to do next

I presume tiles were not laid direct on concrete but on a screed ? It may be the damp that’s caused the tiles to lift originally If you can supply a photo I can take a look

It sounds lije you may have dpm problem and dpc .They may not be over lapping on and over the cavity wall you need to investigate a few areas to determing tge problem.
