LVT flooring

Anonymous user 26/10/2026 - 8.23 AM

The lvt flooring (click fix) has started opening up at various places because of incorrect laying. Can the flooring be removed and reused ? Have some extra boxes which can replace the broken boards.

Yes, in many cases, click-fit LVT flooring can be carefully lifted and reused, provided the locking joints are still in good condition. The most important step is to identify why the flooring has started separating. Common causes include an uneven subfloor, incorrect expansion gaps, damaged click joints or poor installation. We would recommend carefully lifting the affected flooring, inspecting the boards and subfloor, correcting any underlying issues, and then refitting the reusable boards. Any boards with damaged locking edges should be replaced using your spare flooring. At MasterFix Group, we specialise in flooring installation and repairs, including LVT and laminate flooring. In our experience, addressing the original cause is essential to prevent the same problem from happening again. Kind regards, MasterFix Group
