My Architect, who I hired from Mybuilder.com is not responding to any calls for couple of months now. He has not given me the scale drawing of my extension (which is approved by the planning dept) for builders to work, what do I do now? It's delaying the starting of work, and I have no idea how to get hold of the scale drawing. Please help. Thanks

You will be able to download them from your local authority website. If you search planning applications and enter your details, under documents all the drawings they submitted will be there. The scale will not always be accurate but the builders will be able to work round that for quoting. The drawings you require the builders to work from are building regulation drawings. These will need to be submitted to the council for approval and this application is known as "Full Plan Application".

Good afternoon,
I’m sorry to hear of the issues you seem to be having with your architect.
Firstly, to help progress your scheme, the scale of the drawing which has been approved should be stated on the drawing and so, as suggested by others, should hopefully assist builders in preparing a provisional quote. I’m assuming you were issued a copy of the drawing by the consultant, but if not - and has already been stated - you should be able to source and download all the approved documentation from the local authority website.
Thereafter, you could submit a Building Notice as opposed to a full plans submission, perhaps dependant on the complexity of the scheme and often the preference of the local authority, or progress the Building Regulations through an Approved Inspector (your builder should be able to advise on this process if you still can’t get hold of your architect).
As regards the non-response issue, if your consultant is a registered architect – they can’t use the title architect if they’re not – then you could contact the arb (architect’s registration board) to assist with the matter. If they’re not a registered architect, however, then there isn’t a governing body as such that I’m directly aware of unfortunately.
All that said, it is of course possible that the consultant has had other problems to deal with, not necessarily work related, in which case it is possible that their non-response is not intentional. I’d perhaps suggest, then, that you write formally, ideally sending the letter using a tracked and signed for service, which will allow you to check whether your correspondence has been received and assess the matter further thereafter.
I hope that helps and wish you luck with your project.
