Cold air coming through the living room carpet

I am in a detached house with wooden floor. There is a thick rubber underlay beneath the carpet but there is still cold air coming through the carpet. Can somebody tell me how to fix this problem.
Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Hi
I would recomend removing the carpet and underlay and sealing in between each floor board and then lay a paper felt and then refit the underlay and carpet . Hope this is of help.
