Our flat is within a block and we are not on the ground floor. It had been totally renovated since end of 1st Qtr in 2016. We decided then we go all electric. We thought if the gas pipe has been capped at the gas meter it will be sufficient and be in compliance . Is our above understanding correct please? Please advise.

If the meter has been removed then the supply will have been capped by the supplier. The outlet pipe from the meter and all other gas point require capping.
