There is no specific depth required, but you must keep the patio 5 cm lower than the door so that rainwater does not enter your house. First, you need to call a plumber to install the drainage pipes, in addition to the hot and cold water lines. After that, you will determine where you want to place the bathtub and construct a concrete base only underneath the bathtub to prevent any sinking or settling when the tub is filled. Next, you must tile the entire patio area, and then install and place the bathtub. (Do not sink the bathtub into the ground because it will be vulnerable to foxes and animals falling into it)
