Changing drawer fronts
Andrew Davies 02/10/2026 - 10.27 AM
I’m changing a couple of kitchen drawer fronts. Hopefully I can post a picture after posting this, but if not, I’m stuck with removing the tension rod connector from the front panel. I’ve unscrewed the tension rod and then, in the front panel, I have a metal bit which goes into a plastic bit that potentially looks dowel-y. I’m trying to remove that from the panel. Is it screwed in or should I be trying to pull it out with pliers?
