Door and frame different shades of white

Hi, I have recently undercoated doors and frames with Dulux trade undercoat. They are different woods, and even with four coats of undercoat, they are still showing as different shades of white, the doors are more cream. I would like the finish to be uniform white. Will the topcoat do that, or should I Zinser bin first? Or will Dulux Once solve the problem? I don't really want to use Dulux Once. Rather use normal satinwood. Grateful for your advice.

yes, I’d stop putting more Dulux Trade Undercoat on it. Four coats is already more than enough. The fact that the doors are still creamier than the frames suggests the underlying wood/old coating is influencing the colour, rather than you simply needing another coat of undercoat.What I would do, If the surface is sound and you're not getting brown/yellow staining or resin bleeding through, I would not use Zinsser BIN just to make the whites match Let the undercoat fully harden. Give everything a light sand roughly 180–240 grit mainly to smooth it and provide a good key. Dust thoroughly. Apply 2 full coats of the same white satinwood over everything. Hopefully thats helps abit
