Is there a minimum width for joining different tiles on a semi bungalow. Neighbours roofer has gone for thin width and can’t find anything online if this is correct.

I presume the roof was signed off by building control so there really should not be any problem, the gutter it's self is generally 12inch wide so anything within this frame work should be fine
