shower tray leak

Hi, I have a shower tray leak in a wet room shower. I called in a plumber and he did his thing and cut a hole in the ceiling below and told me I have a leak. He spent a lot of time running water and going up and down. He then told me that the repair was not in his skillset after he had taken my money. Now I run the shower water and the water and it is running completely cold where I had control of the temperature before he arrived. Can you please tell me some reasons for the heat not working despite the most he did was lift the drain tray and cut a hole?

Im afraid your plumber has been very unprofessional. The lack of hot water is likely to be something to do with the shower valve. The leak is another matter it will all depend on how the wet room was constructed. Happy to have a look if you wish. Quenton Skyline Heating and plumbing.
