I have a built in wardrobe and I want to remove it but does this come under demolition??

Built in wardrobe -is pretty simple to remove however they may be additional works required as follows - missing skirtings - missing coving and damaged walls requiring plastering -
Multi skilled tradesman or general builder would be best option worse case scenario
