Economy 7 Quarzt stopped working

Suddenly the device is not working and not showing any lights on. Not for the timed schedule and not for the boost option. Can this be just the device not working or the fault could came from the electricity circuit?

This sounds like an immertion heater issue could be just the stat or the whole unit would need to be changed
