What is the best way to insulate external facing bedroom walls when space is at a premium? Walls are solid construction and have a tendency to be very cold in the winter and develop condensation.

Installing External Wall Insulation would be the most efficient way to insulate the room and cure the issues you have mentioned. This method includes installing Insulation with a Render finish to the external walls - This would be need to be installed to the entirety of each wall of the property rather than just the bedroom itself.
