Glue Down LVT on Oak Flooring

Hi, i moved into a property and there is a thick oak floor throughout the ground floor except the living room. I’d like to have glue down LVT but I’m struggling to pull up the oak floor. Could the LVT be fitted on top of the oak flooring? Thank you

yes offcourse its fitted on top of flooring if floor in level

Dear Beth,
Yes, it can be fitted on top but my suggestion is ,the thick oak flooring can be sanded with a special sanding machine and then painted with clear lacquer and it can be restored to the original look.
