Restoration of edwardian house, is this going to break the bank?
Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 2.43 PM
I am hoping to restore an Edwardian house in the new forest. It needs damp a new damp course, roof attention, repointing and some of the bricks have decayed, one of the drains is blocked, Central heating, rewiring, new kitchen, bathroom, replastering to walls and ceilings, new windows, chimney stack needs looking at, new flooring downstairs due to damp. I have had a full survey done which feels fairly damning, however it's all about the money and I need to know what figures I am looking at? Help!!
Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?
