What fixings do I need to hang heavy mirrors onto plasterboard walls?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Depending on size of mirror and preference of where it is placed, I would suggest that you find out where one or two of the joists are behind the plaster board and use a least 50mm or 60mm wood screws, if no joist can be found, a butter fly plaster board fixing will do, but if the mirror is over 5 kg and no joist can be found, I would suggest having a noggin but in behind the plaster board for getting a fixing
