Plastering & Rendering

Rendering over protruding bricks.

Anonymous user 17/08/2026 - 8.07 AM

I have a wall that I want to use weber render over. The house was built in the 60s and has two groups of three brick protruding out from the original render. Can these brick be simply cut back flush with the rest of the wall, or would this cause other issues in time? Thanks in advance.

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?
