How to fix boiler pressure problem?
Anonymous user 01/03/2024 - 2.48 PM
My boiler pressure is at 0 when the heating is off and close to 2 when the heating is on. The shower (mixer tap) is only warm and no longer getting hot. Is the pressure supposed to go to 0 and then above 2? Or might this be causing the shower problem? Thanks

Hi, This could possibly be an expansion vessel problem...recharging it with air could be an option but usually with age they split inside causing water to fill up the air section...this then causes your heating system to over pressurise and drip out of your PRV (short section of pipe sticking outside)
Either way you need a heating engineer.
