Loft Conversion

Gap between flat dormer roof and fascia

Anonymous user 14/07/2026 - 7.58 AM

Recently had a loft conversion done and have noticed an increasing gap between the roof and the facsia going towards the main roof where it looks about 2-3 cm and you can see the timber roof beams. Is this seriously bad workmanship and how would I get it rectified?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Remove the roof fascia temporarily, enforcing and fix new supporting structural timber, then fix existing fascia back.
