Kitchen Fitting

Complete kitchen referb

Susan callinswood 03/07/2026 - 3.49 PM

The design of my new fitted kitchen is different in places compared to My old one. My new design has been done by a well known company. If I have my own fitter, is it better to have already assembled cupboards or flat pack? Will the fitter rip out my old kitchen and dispose of it for me, and will this reflect in the final Price?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

In most cases, ready-assembled cabinets will reduce installation time, but flat-pack kitchens are also perfectly fine when assembled correctly. Yes, most kitchen fitters can remove and dispose of your existing kitchen before installing the new one. This is usually quoted as a separate item or included within the overall installation price, depending on the scope of work. If your new kitchen layout differs from the old one, remember to budget for any plumbing, electrical work, plastering, decorating or flooring that may be required. A good fitter will discuss all of this with you before work starts so there are no unexpected costs later.
