Have a gas meter in a box in the back yard. I want to build a extension with toilet in. The gas box will be in the extension, do I have to move the meter or leave it where it is..

You can’t build over an incoming gas supply.
You would need to arrange for the meter to be moved by the transporter for your area eg wales and west, transco
