Leaking gutter connecting joint

Anonymous user 02/07/2026 - 7.49 AM

I live in a terraced house: would there be any benefits to clearing front and back gutters on my property only? Also, I have noticed a leaking gutter connecting joint when it rains, the joint connects mine and neighbours property - any advise on how this could be addressed please?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Hi. Cleaning the gutters out once or twice a year has many benefits including; •water drainage from roof •prevents damp and mould •protects roof timber •avoids costly repairs And as for the joint, I would recommend it getting replaced sooner than later to prevent more damage as it generally is a minor repair. Hope this helps
