Kitchen Fitting

Fitting cost

Anonymous user 30/06/2026 - 7.59 AM

Hi I’m wanting to replace my existing kitchen. I’ve had it designed today and the layout is not much different to the current kitchen and no new plumbing or electrical work needs to be carried out. Can someone give me a rough cost of fitting 2 larder units, 9 standing units and 3 wall hung units, replacing work tops in a U shape, end panels and fitting sink? The units come fully assembled.

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

I’d say you’re looking around the £2500 mark

Assuming the old kitchen has already been removed and there's no rewiring, replumbing or plastering required, I'd expect labour to be somewhere around **£2,200–£3,000**. That's for fitting the units, worktops, sink, end panels, plinths and making everything level and finished properly. If the worktops are solid wood, compact laminate, quartz or granite, or if any hidden issues crop up once the old kitchen comes out, the price will increase accordingly.
