Ask a questionKitchen Fitting
Fitting cost

Hi I’m wanting to replace my existing kitchen. I’ve had it designed today and the layout is not much different to the current kitchen and no new plumbing or electrical work needs to be carried out. Can someone give me a rough cost of fitting 2 larder units, 9 standing units and 3 wall hung units, replacing work tops in a U shape, end panels and fitting sink? The units come fully assembled.

I’d say you’re looking around the £2500 mark

Assuming the old kitchen has already been removed and there's no rewiring, replumbing or plastering required, I'd expect labour to be somewhere around **£2,200–£3,000**.
That's for fitting the units, worktops, sink, end panels, plinths and making everything level and finished properly.
If the worktops are solid wood, compact laminate, quartz or granite, or if any hidden issues crop up once the old kitchen comes out, the price will increase accordingly.

Hi, based on the information you’ve provided, I would estimate the labour cost for fitting your kitchen at £2,000–£2,800, depending on the worktop material and the condition of the existing kitchen once it’s removed.
This would typically include:
* Removal of the existing kitchen (if required)
* Installation of 2 larder units, 9 base units and 3 wall units
* Fitting U-shaped worktops
* Installing end panels, plinths and trims
* Fitting and connecting the sink (assuming no plumbing alterations are needed)
* Final adjustments to doors and drawers
As the units are already assembled and no electrical or plumbing changes are required, this helps keep the installation straightforward. The final price would depend on a site visit to confirm the details and ensure there are no unforeseen issues.
