New boiler advice
Shadik Masud 18/06/2026 - 10.05 AM
Want to choose between a Worcester Bosch Green star 4000 30kw and a Vaillant EcoFIT Pure 835. Prices are similar, so I'm interested in hot water performance and reliability. My current set up is a 3 bed semi detached, 2 bathrooms (one upstairs and one downstairs) . Total of 11 radiators in the house. Boiler is located in the front of house in the garage and is wall mounted with flu chute towards the roof. Any advice from plumbers on peak performance and reliability appreciated.

Hi
Both boilers are excellent options, but if hot water performance is your main priority, I’d recommend the Vaillant ecoFIT Pure 835.
It has a higher hot water flow rate than the Worcester Bosch Greenstar 4000 30kW, which means better shower performance and faster bath filling, provided your incoming mains water pressure and flow are sufficient.

Both Vaillant and Worcester are the leading brands of boiler in my opinion. Both brilliant compared to other brands.
But I would go with a vaillant from the information you've described and in my opinion they are the better of the two manufacturers generally.
