Got some wood treatment on my roof's breathable membrane

Anonymous user 11/05/2026 - 8.06 AM

I was applying some water-beard wood treatment (Everbuild Triple Action wood treatment) to my loft timbers and managed to get some into the breathable membrane. I have wiped down the area with warm soapy water and raised the membrane from the timber with plastic speakers to dry out. Is this likely to be a problem? Google suggests it is a problem but equally I know that chemical warnings can be overly dramatic. Thanks for your help!
