Replace my old victorian fireplace

How big is the job to remove my victorian fireplace and put a new log burner? How long it can take and what i have to consider before i start this job?

Anyone competent can remove an existing Victorian fireplace and find the original brick cavity. But only a Hetas registered tradesman can install a log burner (complete with chimney liner) as the house insurance will be void if the Hetas registered tradesman hasn’t signed the job off …
