Any ideas on preventing wall tops being stolen?
Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 2.43 PM
We all know it happens especially with yorkshire stone flag tops, any suggestions to prevent them from being stolen? Dropped a wall from 3m to 1m and the tops will need bedding on but don't want to do it until I have a solution to prevent them from being nicked. Only suggestion so far was to screw a thunder bolt into each end and once they all on weld the bolts together? Any other ideas?

One method I once used was to drill 2 10mm holes at each end of the flag top then resin bolt in some 8mm stainless steel bar once the resin sets point over the hole.make sure the bar is stainless though because if it isn't normal steel will rust and expand and will eventually crack the flag
