Junction box on top of cooker...

Uwais 21/01/2026 - 7.57 AM

Hellos, I'm wanting to fit an extraction fan. However, in the overhead cupboard there is a terminal box. It's not right on top of the cooker but slightly to the right.

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

I do not understand your question , so this is my interpretation ..........If it is a single socket above the cooker in a cupboard , that`s usually for a cooker hood.

Hi there, It sounds like you should have power there and will need to change it out to a 13A switched spur to connect up your hood, then you’re all good to go.
