INSTALLATION OF INSULATION MATERIAL IN A LOFT AREA
Seth Paul 13/01/2026 - 3.47 PM
I have a property that has a first floor which is essentially in the loft. This isn't a modification or conversion, it's an original design. All the rooms on the first floor have sloping ceilings, the middle of the rooms have straight ceilings and these slope towards the wall. There is hardly any space above the ceiling and access is almost impossible. The issue is there is zero isulation. I am looking into the best way to insulate the ceilings. The height of the ceilings isn't great and there is the slopes to contend with. I am lookiing for some advice on the best solution for this property. It will be impossible to place normal loft roll( maybe in a just a small area where the head height allows, but I think I have to rule this option out). I would like the best solution to provide the perfect u/r values.
