New electrical installtion advice BEST COMPONENTS AND BEST ADVICE REQUIRED

Hi and thanks in advance. I am about to embark on a refurb of a domestic property. As a keen DIYer I like to get my hands dirty and do what I can. I don't mess about with gas or electric for obvious reasons. However as I'm carrying a lot of the work out myself and living at the property at the same time, some of the work will need to be carried out in an non-conventional manner. As you will know most rewires involve a first fix and second fix. I don't think I will be able to conform to this process on this occasion. What I envisage is a rewire that is step by step and possibly a few rooms at a time. The property comprises of 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (no electric showers), lounge, dining room, a snug and a kitchen. There is also a garage which has more recent wiring which will not require replacing. The property will require complete rewire. The rewire is to include; CAR CHARGER, EXTERIOR SECURTIY LIGHTS, THE USUAL CIRCUITS AND SPURS FOR KITCHEN, BOILER, PIV UNIT, GARDEN POINT ETC. What I would like is advice on the most trusted and best quality consumer unit for this job. I would like to select something fairly up to date and future proof.I may extend and add at a later date. The main CU is to be installed in the garage and all wiring routed to this. My other main question is something I think most electricians would advise against, however I would like to know if it's ok to do as my project is awkward (without saying too much). I intend to have a secondary consumer unit on the first floor. This will facilitate the DIY nature of the project. Can this secondary unit be wired independently of the main unit? So instead of running a cable into the main consumer unit, can a cable be connected to the isolator after the meter, by splitting the supply at the isolator (one for MAIN CU AND ONE FOR THE ONE UPSTAIRS)? If yes, what type of cable is best suited for this run? And if this method is not allowed and the supply for upstairs needs to off the main unit, what will be set up for this? I.e. what size MCB and cable? My understanding is, that as all the upstairs wiring will go into the upstairs unit and by doing this it will also save some long runs of cable. But more importantly for me is the flexibility this will offer in managing my project. All work will be carried out by qualified electricians where required, however would like to be informed and knowledgeable, there are always different opinions and I would like to make informed decisions in all aspects of the re wire, Any feedback will be appreciated and thanks once again in advance.

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Yep run the board seperate we would need a 100smp breaker in avid by meter and from there swa to the second consumer unit If ran from the short ccu depending on the max load of the second ccu 60amp Mcb and 16 mill cable But by but approach will be longer and over all cost more I appreciated you are living and working in it but if you could move in to one part of house refer a floor then move and rewire the other floor this would make the job quicker cheaper and safer for all

The main issue will be signing off the paperwork required 1) The electrical installation certificate 2) the part P notification. No professional electrician will sign off a third party job which could result in the property being un sellable in the future unless an insurance policy is taken out which will result in a price reduction on the sale cost
