Insulated door between garage and house

Lloyd Shepherd 15/12/2025 - 3.42 PM

Im looking to install a new door and frame between the garage and house because the door installed at the moment lets the cold air in as its not a great seal against the between the door and frame. What is the best type of insulated door and frame to install between a garage and a house for insulation purposes.

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

the answer is one of preference and what you are allowed to do , does it have to be a fire door , if so your cheapest option is a timber fire door but this would perform the worst in the keeping out of draughts , personally i would put a pvc door in , its well insulated / keeps out draughts well and has god security , same goes for a composite but a little more expensive .
