Hi I wanted ask a trade person that I have already got a 4hob built in cooker I wanted to ask a qualified gas engineer to let me know if I can gave a five ring hob cooker fitted there and I wanted the oven underneath while my existing oven is on the other side of the kitchen I need some advise how to get this done according to the rules of the gas safety regulations if any one can answer this query thanks

Yes, you can replace a 4-ring hob with a 5-ring hob and have an oven under it as long as:
• The new hob physically fits the worktop and meets clearance rules.
• The oven and hob manufacturers allow an oven under the hob.
• The gas pipe size is sufficient for a 5-burner hob.
• A Gas Safe engineer installs the hob and checks ventilation, isolation valve, and gas flow.
A Gas Safe engineer needs to look at the space to confirm everything is compliant.
