Liquid DPC on damp concrete floor

We bought a property where there is a damp on a small extended kitchens concrete floor. I want to put a liquid dpc and the put tiles on. Will the damp moves to the walls of the kitchen if i do this? Any recommendations? I dont jave budget yet to replace the concrete floor yet

yes, it can push damp into the walls if it’s not detailed correctly — especially where the new surface DPM meets the wall plaster or skirting.
