Hi what rafter size would be used on a "Lean To" style single span of 6.9mtrs. Total roof area 6.9 x 7.8 witha 15 degree pitch. Roof material colorbond trimdeck with plasterboard ceiling under side.

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

A single span of 6.9m is very large & in my opinion would justify paying a structural engineer to calculate the correct size of joists taking into account the roof covering you are intending to use.

i would be surprised if you could get a beam long enough. maybe use plywood i beams or easi joist beams. at least you will be able to lift them. you will need structural calculations dont guess.
