Bathroom Fitting

Bath plug is stuck down. Its twist knob type. The bath is fully tiled in and I cant get access.

I cant get the plug to pop up. Ive tried wd40 but it wont move. Can I drill out the plug and convert it to a pop up unit

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Hi, Try boiling water over plug for 20/30mins, then WD40 with plunger or suction cup. If that fails to remove bath waste you will need access to underside of bath to replace waste with new. Hope this helps Chris

If it is a 'pop-up' bath waste (you twist the overflow) that is on a wire and is likely broken. It will need to be swapped out - something like the one you mentioned where you push the plug down and it pops up. Known as a 'click-clack'
