Kitchen taps

Jane Cryan 30/09/2025 - 8.03 AM

I'm sure this question has been asked lits of times but I can't find out how to search. My kitchen taps needs replacing, it's the 2nd one I've had from Wrens and this one has only lasted a year! Can anyone recommend a good make that comes with a decent guarantee up to about £200. Thanks for any recommendations.

Grohe are the best tap make with a five year guarantee included. The warranty does vary dependent on the product and region. Best to check details on there web site. A slightly cheaper version but still good quality is Bristan. Fensure Plumbing Services

Hi Jane Sorry to hear you’ve had trouble with the Wrens taps—frustrating when things don’t last as they should. If you’re looking for something reliable with a decent guarantee under £200, I’d recommend looking at Bristan, Franke, or Grohe. All three offer solid build quality, good parts availability, and guarantees ranging from 5 to 10 years depending on the model. Bristan in particular has a strong UK support network and is easy to service if needed. Also worth checking that your water pressure and tap aerator are compatible—sometimes premature wear is down to mismatch rather than poor quality. Best of luck! Terry Lambert Heating & Renewables Ltd

There are products from many companies available on the market, but not all of them offer the high quality that will satisfy us for years to come. Among the most recommended bathroom faucets are those from Corsan, Deante, Laveo, and Steinberg. Pav
