Klober tarpac snow/tile guard

Anonymous user 28/08/2025 - 10.52 AM

I recently got my roof replaced but for my own peace of mind I want to add this klober snow guard tarpac to catch tiles if they become loose. All my tiles are nailed and I read that the brackets have to be fitted to the battens so essentially I will have to get a roofer to remove the nails from the tiles in order to lift the tiles to fit the bracket to the battens. I don’t want to lift my tiles up as I am worried tiles will get damaged and there is a chance of a leak occurring. I wanted to know if I could install this snow guard grid without lifting my tiles, so fit this system on top of the tiles or is there an alternative product available where I don’t have to remove the nails and lift my tiles.

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Hi, any guard fitted will need the tiles lifting first, they need to be fitted to the roof structure giving them stability , if a loose tile occurs the guard will then have the strength it needs to hold tight. Kind regards Laroofers
