Brick porch built 28yrs ago leaning forward
Andy Gregg 05/09/2025 - 3.11 PM
Porch leaning forward more at one side. Appears to be foundations sinking, clay soil drying out. Porch started moving approx 10yrs ago but this year more so. Do I need a structural engineer? Any advice appreciated. Looked at resin and other forms of repair to raise the foundations.

It might be the porch isn't tied to the house with wall starter bars. Its a common problem that causes the concrete foundation of the porch to sink because the concrete foundation wont be tied to the house either causing the porch to disconnect from the house. If so it needs demolished.
