Integrated fridge doors to open wide
Risina 03/09/2025 - 3.02 PM
Because of my disability, I need the fridge doors to open wide, almost 180 degrees. The integrated fridge when its not installed allows such opening of the doors, but my builder said that once he instals it the doors will be opening less, about 100 degrees because the way the wood would be attached to the door. Now I am thinking to have it as a free standing. Is there a way the wood be attached to the doors of the fridge in a way not to block the full opening? Any advice will be appreciated.

Hi!
Ask your builder if he has considered using 170° corner hinges.
These hinges should allow for full opening of your fridge within your integrated unit.

It's a very basic preceadure to replace the kitchen hinges in 165 or 175 degrees.

You are very limited when it comes to integrated fridge freezer hinges as they need to be slimline -the option of a wider degree hinge will not work as these hinges are bulkier and will not fit between the appliance and carcass.
