Spray paint over pebble dash

Would be the best way to spray paint as its a rough surface. Roller or brush will be more challenging and would take longer .

Yes seen it done, but it’s very thin paint to be sprayable (and needs loads of coats). Me, I paint and stipple it all with a good quality outdoor paint, usually several coats, takes ages but you reap what you sow.

Yes you can spray paint over pebble dash, make sure you take care when spraying over roofs (conservatory ect) and sheet up. Tape windows up also. Take care when up ladders as the hose on the sprayer can get tangled. Spraying can be a much more efficient and less exhausting way to paint pebble dash for sure. That being said check your sprayer is efficient to be used for external masonary paint and if required dilute the paint for compatability and take this into consideration when applying the correct amount of coat. Hi you can spray pebbledash but it would need watering down and if the stones pretty thick you can’t beat a thick masonry head roller and cage 18” large skuttle cut in and roll 👍

Yes you can spray over pebbledash, wed advise having it washed eith a fungal washbto remove moss, lichen etc, then you'd be looking to have it stabilised prior to painting, then 2 to 3 coats of paint as standard.

Yes it can be done, I have done this successfully using airless sprayer and brush combination. (Sandtex smooth) As others have said paint consumption is higher than brushing/roller but is quicker with airless in my opinion Hope this helps
