Rubber based flat roofing material

There are quite a few Company's now offering a rubber based product to replace old felt on flat roofs. Does anybody know how good this material is compared to traditional felt roofs and how this product compares in price

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Hi the rubber sheet system is very good , we have now started to install it often compared to the older felt system. It costs quite a bit more [ approx x 2 ] but it carries a much better guarantee. Regards Norman Thornton Norjan Properties Ltd

epdm rubber roofing system is by far the best roofing material currently on the market but it does come at a price.

EPDM is good if the roof is not being trafficked if the roof is to be trafficked then the most superior roof is of course Fibreglass (GRP).
